The 034Motorsport 350mmx34mm 2-piece floating front brake rotor Upgrade Kit is specially designed for the Audi B9 & B9.5 S4/S5/SQ5 and offers a complete replacement for the stock front brake rotors. This brake kit is designed to work perfectly with the original front brake calipers and offers a significant weight savings of 6.65 lbs per corner, resulting in a lighter and more agile handling. Each rotor weighs approximately 21.25 lbs, a dramatic reduction from the original rotors' 27.90 lbs. Despite the weight savings, the rotor retains sufficient thermal mass within the rings to effectively retain and dissipate heat, maintaining braking performance even under heavy use. With 72 curved vanes, cool air is powerfully channeled through the rotor to effectively dissipate excess heat, providing improved brake cooling and performance compared to the original straight vanes. The center shield of the rotor is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, while the brake rotor itself is made from a special alloy that can withstand extremely high temperatures. The J-Slots on the rotor's surface help clean the brake pads, reduce brake noise, and efficiently dissipate gases released during heavy braking. The floating mounting system, with high-quality steel bobbins, allows the rotor to expand and contract safely without deformation during heavy braking. Furthermore, the rotor rings are replaceable, reducing long-term maintenance costs.
