The 034 Motorsport 2-Piece Floating Rear Brake Rotor Upgrade is a complete replacement kit, specially designed for the MQB and MQB EVO models of Volkswagen and AudiWeighing approximately 11.30 lbs per rotor, this represents a significant 3.70 lbs reduction compared to the factory 15.0 lbs rotors. These brake rotors are equipped with 72 directionally curved air vanes that force cool air through the rotor, ensuring optimal heat dissipation. The center shield is made of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, while the rotor itself is machined from a special alloy designed to withstand high braking temperatures. The J-Slot slots on the rotor surface aid in cleaning the brake pads and reduce brake noise compared to traditional drilled rotors. The floating mounting system allows for safe expansion and contraction of the rotors under heat, ensuring long-term performance and reliability.
