The 034 Motorsport 390mm x 34mm 2-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotor Upgrade Kit The Gen 1 & 1.5 Audi R8 is a complete replacement brake rotor and caliper spacer kit designed to work perfectly with the factory calipers on the Gen 1 & 1.5 R8. This upgrade kit weighs approximately 10.8 kg per rotor and reduces rotating weight by 0.27 kg per corner compared to the factory rotors' 11.1 kg. This weight-saving design allows the rotors to not only be lighter but also maintain the correct thermal mass to effectively capture and dissipate heat. 72 directionally curved vanes force cooling air through the rotor, optimizing heat dissipation and improving overall braking performance. By increasing the diameter of the front rotor, the factory caliper can deliver greater braking force. This larger front rotor also offers improved cooling capacity compared to the factory rotor, which is essential for both daily driving and intense track use.
