The X34 Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System has been specially developed for the 2015 – 2017 Audi RS3 2.5 TFSI (8V) and is only suitable for vehicles not sold in the US. This high-performance air intake system offers significant performance benefits. It delivers up to 14 hp and 10 ft-lbs of torque more than standard turbo settings. This not only means an increase in power but also an improved driving experience with greater throttle response. 034 Motorsport has paid close attention to the design of this air intake. By using advanced technologies such as CFD analysis and 3D scanning, a carbon fiber intake hose was developed that is a direct replacement for the factory plastic pipe. This ensures optimal airflow, even with the space limitations of the engine bay. The X34 Cold Air Intake System It is equipped with a carbon fiber heat shield that allows the high-flow conical filter to inhale cooler, denser air. This is crucial because air temperature directly affects engine performance. The heat shield fits perfectly against the factory air filter housing and prevents warm air from the engine compartment from reaching the intake. Furthermore, the filter housing's design carefully considered the airflow around the filter. This ensures free airflow in and out, improving overall performance. Many aftermarket kits fail in this regard, but 034 Motorsport has thoroughly tested and resolved this issue. As for aesthetics, the carbon fiber finish was carefully chosen to perfectly match the factory carbon fiber trim of the Audi RS3.
