034 Motorsport proudly presents our Intake Inlet Pipe Heat Shield for the Audi 8S TTRS and 8V.5/8Y RS3 2.5 TFSI EVO! This heat shield is made of high-quality 304 stainless steel, which provides excellent corrosion and heat resistance. It's designed to reduce intake air temperature by protecting the intake manifold from direct radiant heat from the turbocharger and downpipe. This protection allows the engine to run more efficiently, resulting in improved performance.
A key function of this heat shield is to prevent damage to carbon fiber and plastic intake pipes, which could otherwise be affected by heat. This makes it an essential upgrade for both stock and aftermarket intake system owners. The heat shield is confirmed to work with most aftermarket intakes and has been specifically tested with the Integrated Engineering IE Carbon Fiber Intake System for the Audi RS3 8V and TTRS 8S, which makes installation easier and ensures a perfect fit.
Important note for earlier non-US 8V.5 models:
For very early non-US 8V.5 Audi RS3 models It is possible that an earlier style heat shield has been installed that is not compatible with the 034 Motorsport Auxiliary Heat Shield included with this kit. For these models, the newer style OE heat shield, available for less than $100 USD from an Audi dealer, can be purchased (OE part number: 07K 129 597 G). After installation, the 034 Motorsport Auxiliary Heat Shield can also be installed for additional protection.
