The 034 Motorsport Stainless Steel Racing Catalyst Set for the Audi RS5 B9/B9.5 is designed as a direct replacement for the restrictive factory catalytic converters. This kit provides significant performance improvements throughout the entire RPM range of the 2.9T engineWith this upgrade, you'll experience increased power and torque, faster turbo spooling, improved throttle response, and a sportier exhaust note. Turbo lag is also significantly reduced, resulting in faster acceleration. These Racing Catalytic Converters eliminate the main limitation of the original exhaust system, offering a performance-focused solution that improves airflow. The kit utilizes two large Euro 3 Racing catalytic converters located in their original locations, providing a complete drop-in replacement. This means installation is simple and hassle-free, requiring no modifications to factory components. Integrated v-band flanges on the turbo outlets, oxygen sensor connections after the catalytic converters, and 3-bolt downpipe flanges contribute to a precise fit and ease of installation. The catalytic converters are constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, which guarantees long-lasting strength and corrosion resistance. The entire assembly is TIG-welded and back-purged, resulting in optimal performance and durability. In addition, an OE-style heat insulation barrier is integrated, which helps minimize heat transfer to the engine compartment. This keeps the engine compartment cooler and prevents potential damage from excessive heat.
