The 034 Motorsport Turbo Muffler Removal with Test Ports is the perfect upgrade for the Mk8 Volkswagen GTI, designed to transform the driving experience by enhancing the sound of the turbocharger. This product is a direct replacement for the OEM turbo muffler, which was originally designed to muffle turbocharger noise. With the Turbo Muffler Delete, the driver can finally enjoy the distinctive sounds a turbo has to offer. The Turbo Muffler Delete design replaces the internal baffles of the OEM muffler with a smooth-wall, machined design crafted from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum. This eliminates any sound deadening elements, allowing the intriguing sounds of the turbo, such as spooling noise and airflow, to be clearly audible. The straight-through construction promotes optimal airflow, which not only enhances the sound experience but can also increase performance. A unique feature of this product is the sensor test ports. The Turbo Muffler Delete is equipped with two 1/16 inch NPT connections, which allows users to take temperature and pressure measurements for data logging and tuning. Included in the package are 1/16″ NPT plugs Included, pre-installed for ease of use.
