The 034 Motorsport X34 Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System is specially designed for the Audi TTRS 8J and RS3 8P with the powerful 2.5 TFSI engine. This air intake system offers impressive power and torque gains across the entire rev range. When using the standard turbo tuning, this system can deliver up to 16 hp and 13 ft-lbs of torque. With upgraded turbos, the figures are even more impressive: more than 35 hp and 24 ft-lbs extra. The development of the X34 intake involved countless iterations, with each stage focused on maximizing airflow and minimizing air intake temperatures. The CFD-optimized carbon fiber intake duct replaces the plastic factory intake and allows for increased flow thanks to an improved design that takes into account the limited space within the engine bay. Additionally, the accompanying carbon fiber heat shield allows for the induction of cool, dense air from the factory, further increasing performance.
A key aspect of the X34 is that it ensures optimal airflow around the air filter. This prevents the filter from becoming blocked, which often happens with kits that fit oversized filters into unsuitable housings. The included high-flow, dual-layer conical air filter provides excellent filtration and an increased filter surface area, resulting in improved flow.
