Description
In addition to their Audi Sport S1 Front Mount intercooler, Airtec has launched a Stage 2 intercooler with an integrated crash bar, adding to their range of performance intercoolers.
The design features 60mm inlets and outlets that flow freely through the custom end tanks, in an 80mm – 60mm deep single pass core. By integrating the crash bar, the entire front grille area is used, while maintaining the towing eye function. This provides a huge increase in surface area and volume, and significantly reduces intake air temperatures, suitable for heavily modified examples with higher boost pressures and over 500 hp.
