Description
If you want to get more than about 450WHP from your BMW with B58 GEN 1 engine, then the factory HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) is going to be the weak link at those levels. This will give you much more room to make power. This upgrade is good for approximately 600HP on gasoline.
Used as a cheaper alternative to increase fuel requirements when going beyond the stage 2 power level on a B58 powered BMW (M140i, M240i, 340i).
• HDP5 EVO (Standard B58) Fuel flow – 0.954 cc/rev
• HDP6 TU (Z4 / Supra) Fuel flow – 1,178 cc/rev
Figures are based per camshaft revolution
Approximately 23.5% increase in fuel flow, which would allow ~600hp of fuel options (on pump fuel)
The standard fuel pump is capable of a safe 460HP.
Remark:
Only for engines that do not yet have the 13518631642 pump!
