Description
With the Gen 3 Electronic Wastegate Actuator Extension Cable you no longer need to have the turbo on the engine to check and adjust the wastegate voltage. You can now adjust the voltage of the wastegate on your new turbo/actuator outside the car before installing the turbo.
How does it work?
• Connect the CTS Wastegate Actuator Extension Cable to the electrical connector in the vehicle.
• Connect the other end of the extension cord to the turbo on your workbench.
• Turn on the ignition but do not start the engine.
• Now you can boot up your computer and VCDS/OBD11 on the same workbench and calibrate/troubleshoot the wastegate voltage as desired.
• Easier calibration of wastegate voltage without a turbo installed
• Troubleshooting wastegate operation (fix codes P2563, P00AF and P0045)
