It IE Race Series FDS Intercooler System has been specially developed for the Audi B9/B9.5 SQ5 3.0T and offers an unparalleled improvement in cooling and performance. This intercooler system provides an impressive 280% increase in volume compared to the standard intercooler. This significantly reduces intake air temperatures (IAT) and effectively reduces heat soak. This means your engine maintains strong performance, even during sustained acceleration and high loads. The intercooler block is equipped with iE's innovative Flow Distribution System (FDS), where specially shaped fins in the end tanks distribute airflow evenly throughout the cooling element. This ensures more efficient heat dissipation and faster recovery times, resulting in consistent and sustainable performance. Unlike other intercoolers, which are designed for both 2.0T and 3.0T engines, the IE Race Intercooler is specifically tailored to the powerful 3.0T engine of the Audi SQ5. The intercooler features the largest core in its class, measuring an impressive 19.4x16.3x4.5″, making it 55% larger than the standard iE FDS Intercooler and offering a 280% increase in volume over the OEM intercooler.
