Mishimoto offers a limited lifetime warranty on its automotive products, with a focus on performance cooling products. This warranty applies to Mishimoto products purchased directly from Mishimoto or authorized dealers (collectively, "Mishimoto Products"). Only the original purchaser of the Mishimoto product may claim under this warranty, which is non-transferable. All claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase. Under the terms of this warranty, upon a valid claim, Mishimoto may, at its sole discretion: (i) repair or replace the original Mishimoto product; (ii) replace the original Mishimoto product with the most current available model (if the original model is not available); or (iii) provide the purchaser with a gift certificate equal to the original purchase price of the Mishimoto product (for example, if support for a specific application has been discontinued). To submit a claim, you must complete the online form completely and accurately and provide Mishimoto with a copy of the original proof of purchase. If necessary, you must also send the Mishimoto product to Mishimoto, with all transportation costs prepaid. Mishimoto also offers a "Mishimoto Accident Protection Plan" for damage resulting from an accident. Claims under this plan must be submitted within three months of the accident and must include photos of the accident and the damage to the vehicle, along with a copy of an official police report. It is important to note that the warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation, use, or operation of Mishimoto products. Mishimoto recommends that all products be installed by a trained professional. The warranty also does not cover damage caused by failure to follow the owner's manual, improper storage, installation, handling, use, or manufacturing of the product. In addition, shipping costs for repair or replacement of Mishimoto products will apply, depending on the product type and the time since purchase. Mishimoto reserves the right to deny a claim and reserves the discretion to repair, replace, or issue a gift certificate. The general warranty guidelines also require that claims be submitted within 14 days of receipt of the product if the product is defective on arrival (DOA). Claims made outside this timeframe are not covered by Mishimoto's lifetime warranty. Mishimoto ships repaired or replaced products within the United States via UPS Ground, with expedited shipping options available for an additional fee. Shipments outside the US are subject to additional shipping costs and longer shipping times. Overall, Mishimoto's warranty policy is detailed and focused on ensuring customer satisfaction by offering repairs, replacements, or refunds, depending on the circumstances.
