Description
The TTE490 upgrade turbocharger TheTurboEngineers developed the Hyundai i30N G4KH Facelift for those who want more power without compromising reliability. This hybrid turbo uses a CNC-machined billet compressor wheel (7+7 blades, extended tip) which delivers significantly more air mass, but still maintains an early spool.
The compressor cover has been modified with CNC machining to accommodate the larger wheel. On the exhaust side, the proven TTE 9-blade turbine for less back pressure, more flow and a faster response. The turbo is equipped with a reinforced 360° motorsport bearing package, modified wastegate housing with stronger spring and adjustable clamps for optimal tuning.
Each TTE490 is supplied 250,000 RPM dynamically balanced on a VSR machine and supplied with an individual balance test report for maximum reliability and durability. With the appropriate supporting modifications, a power output of 500+ hp possible.
