Description
The 400 Kpa map sensor is essential for vehicles with the third generation 2.0L TSI engines that measure boost pressures above 2 bar. From the third generation of EA888 engines, two boost pressure sensors are installed: one in the pressure pipe and one in the intake manifold.
The standard sensor cannot handle pressure above 2 bar, which is why this 400 Kpa (4 Bar) sensor is necessary. For optimal tuning, we recommend also replacing the sensor in the pressure tube.
NB: The ECU software needs to be adapted to the 400 Kpa map sensor!
