The ACL performance connecting rod bearings are designed for the Audi S3 8L, as well as the TT 8N, Leon 1M and Golf 4 GTI fitted with 1.8T 20V engines. These bearings are manufactured in Australia from a tri-metal composition of tin, copper and steel. They fit the connecting rods of these engines without modification and are available in OEM thickness or 0.25" thicker for modified crankshafts.
