The Airtec Stage 2 Induction Kit is a completely newly designed Intake system that works perfectly with the standard Ford Focus RS Mk3. The kit replaces the original, restrictive plastic airbox, thereby ensuring a freer flow of Intake air.
Compared to the original airbox, you can expect a power gain of 5 to 10 pk, combined with increased torque, a more immediate throttle response and a sportier driving experience.
The kit features a high-flow air filter and a CNC-machined MAF sensor bracket with an engraved AS logo. The result is an enhanced Intake sound and clearly audible turbo recirculation when lifting off the accelerator.
The package is completed by a powder-coated aluminium heat shield with an 80 mm Intake pipe, which directs the air to the underside of the filter. As such, the kit also adds significant visual appeal to the engine compartment. Fitting is straightforward and the system can be quickly restored to its original condition, for example to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty.
