The Airtec Motorsport Induction Kit works perfectly with the standard or modified Ford Focus Mk4 ST 2.3 EcoBoost and enhances performance with a simple bolt-on modification for track use and sporty road driving.
The kit replaces the original airbox and the restrictive Intake system with a system that allows for freer airflow. At its heart is the Group A cotton filter, which allows the engine to breathe significantly better by increasing the volume of cold air that can be drawn in. This delivers more power, better performance and an enhanced Intake sound with a clearly audible turbo note when lifting off the accelerator.
The filter is protected from the hot air in the engine compartment by a laser-cut heat shield. The supplied aluminium Intake pipe is larger than the original to increase internal volume and also ensures a smoother flow, whereas the original pipework varies in diameter.
The kit fits neatly in place of the original, thereby adding significant value to the engine compartment. It features a durable black powder coating, and all fixing materials and an installation guide are included for a straightforward bolt-on fit.
