Airtec Motorsport aluminium radiator upgrade for the Ford Focus RS Mk1 2.0 turbo, developed to significantly improve the cooling capacity of the original cooling system for both sporty road use and track use.
The original Ford radiator features a relatively thin 25 mm core, which can prove limiting under increased load or when the car is tuned. Airtec has therefore developed a fully aluminium radiator with a much larger 45 mm high-flow core.
In addition to the thicker core, this radiator also features a larger cooling surface area, allowing heat to be dissipated more efficiently. This helps to keep the coolant temperature stable during prolonged use and in hot conditions.
The all-aluminium construction dissipates heat more effectively than the original radiator with its plastic components, making it ideal for both track cars and heavily tuned road cars.
The radiator uses the original Ford rubber seals and mounting points, ensuring straightforward installation without the need for modifications.
