The Airtec Motorsport Gen2 CAIS (Cold Air Induction System) for the Ford Focus ST225 Mk2 is the result of more than 12 months of development, testing and optimisation. Compared to the earlier Gen1 version, this second generation features a larger airbox, improved airflow and even better protection against heat soak, resulting in demonstrably better performance.
The fully sealed airbox houses a large Airtec Motorsport Group A-style cotton air filter that draws in fresh air exclusively from the original Air Intake at the front of the car. This keeps Intake temperatures as low as possible and prevents warm air from the engine compartment from being drawn in.
Depending on the vehicle’s configuration, power gains of 10 to 18 pk are possible. You’ll also benefit from improved throttle response, a sportier induction sound and a much neater appearance in the engine compartment.
The kit comes complete with ECU relocation brackets, allowing the ECU to be securely mounted behind the left-hand headlight. Also included are high-quality Pro Hoses silicone hoses, stainless steel hose clamps, fitting materials and a comprehensive installation manual.
Optionally, you can choose an Airtec Motorsport ECU cover for an extra sleek OEM+ finish.
