Airtec Motorsport enclosed Intake Kit for the Ford Fiesta ST Mk8 and Ford Puma ST, developed for sporty road and track use, with a focus on maximum airflow and low Intake temperatures.
This complete enclosed Intake Kit replaces the original Intake system with a far more efficient solution that delivers greater airflow, improved throttle response, a sportier induction sound and a cleaner look in the engine bay.
The kit has been developed entirely at Airtec HQ in the United Kingdom and utilises a large, free-flowing cotton air filter housed within a specially designed three-piece airbox. This ensures the filter remains protected from hot air from the engine compartment.
To minimise heat soak as much as possible, the system utilises laser-cut heat shields and a constant supply of cool air via the car’s original front Intake.
The kit comes complete with an aluminium Intake pipe, all mounting hardware and clear fitting instructions. Installation is entirely bolt-on, requiring no drilling or cutting.
An additional secondary cold air feed is available as an option. This provides a second supply of cold air from the grille to the airbox. In combination with the Airtec Stage 3 Intercooler, this can be connected to the special Stage 3 cold air feed duct.
Please note: when fitting the optional Pro Hoses silicone hose, the ECU bolt must be adjusted.
