the intercooler features Airtec’s proven 50 mm bar-and-plate Intercooler core, combined with high-quality cast aluminium end tanks. This design ensures optimum airflow, minimal pressure drop and maximum durability, even at higher turbo pressures.
The specially shaped cast conical end tanks guide the compressed air smoothly through the intercooler, whilst the supplied air deflector ensures that the airflow is efficiently channelled through the intercooler towards the radiator for optimum cooling.
the intercooler is finished in the distinctive Pro-Series Black coating and can, if desired, be fitted with an Airtec logo in various colours free of charge for a personalised look.
Please note: the original Ford grille shutters must be removed prior to fitting. These can be easily unscrewed, after which the original wiring is attached to the supplied Airtec mounting bracket. A comprehensive fitting guide is included.
