Within the limited space behind the bumper, Airtec opted for a taller core with a depth of 90 mm. This results in a 107% increase in capacity compared to the original Intercooler: 12.6 litres versus 6.1 litres. The frontal area has also increased by 84 per cent, from 761 cm² to 1,400 cm², ensuring optimal utilisation of the available airflow.
The core is combined with high-flow, one-piece cast end tanks, which guide the airflow correctly and efficiently through the intercooler. The result is a significantly higher cooling capacity and a lower Intake air temperature than with the original unit.
It features a black powder-coated finish. All fixing materials and a comprehensive fitting guide are included.
