The Airtec Gobstopper Intercooler & Big boost pipe Kit combines a front-mount Intercooler with a 2.5" big boost pipe kit for the Ford Focus RS MK3. The Airtec Intercooler is the only ready-to-fit Intercooler featuring a 100 mm deep core. Airtec reserves this core for its most extreme coolers and has named it the Gobstopper due to its cooling capacity.
the intercooler features smoothly curved end tanks for optimum airflow and an air-ram Air Intake that forces the airflow directly into the core. The entire unit is manufactured in-house in the United Kingdom and is the most robust Intercooler available, backed by a 3-year warranty.
The 2.5" big boost pipe kit replaces Ford’s restrictive 2" original boost pipes, thereby delivering bolt-on power. The kit has been developed for remapped, high-output Focus RS models and includes everything you need for installation.
The hot side, from the turbo to the intercooler, consists of 2.5" lightweight aluminium pipework connected using 5-ply silicone hoses from Pro Hoses. All pipes have flanged ends, preventing them from being blown off the connections at higher power outputs. Both the intercooler and the pipework are available in Pro-Series Black.
