Airtec Motorsport is expanding its Suzuki range with an intercooler upgrade for the Swift Sport Boosterjet (ZC33S), suitable for both track use and high-speed driving.
To ensure that performance does not drop during prolonged, intensive driving, we have developed a larger, free-flowing Intercooler to replace the smaller, more restrictive OEM version.
The original Intercooler is wide but shallow and is severely restricted by the radar sensor and air duct positioned directly in front of the intercooler core. We have made optimal use of the available space by designing a core that fits alongside the radar sensor but is much deeper. In addition, the remaining available surface area has been utilised to create a more efficient end-tank design.
The result is a core that is 80% deeper than the original, leading to a massive 88% increase in total capacity. Furthermore, there is a significant increase in unobstructed frontal area, ensuring optimal utilisation of the airflow.
This intercooler is the only one on the market with 15% larger inlet and outlet diameters, increased to 60 mm compared to the standard 52 mm, to reduce air resistance. The kit comes with Pro Hoses silicone hoses, which connect to the OEM boost pipe on the cold side and replace the pipe leading to the inlet/hot side for improved airflow. An enlarged outlet/cold-side boost pipe kit is available as an option.
the intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper without the need for trimming or cutting and can easily be restored to its original condition. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all mounting hardware and a detailed installation guide.
