The Airtec Motorsport Oil Cooler kit has been developed for the Volkswagen Golf 7 R and offers an effective solution to high oil temperatures during sporty driving, track use and tuning. Thanks to the external Oil Cooler, the oil temperature remains significantly lower and more stable, providing better protection for the engine under heavy loads.
Extensive testing on European circuits showed that the oil temperature remained below 110°C under heavy loads, whilst standard temperatures could reach as high as 127°C. This makes the kit an essential upgrade for modified EA888 Gen 3 engines.
