The Airtec Motorsport Oil Cooler kit for the Ford Focus RS MK3 is uniquely designed down to the last detail and finished to an exceptionally high standard. At the heart of the kit is a 13-row high-performance Oil Cooler from Airtec.
Modern performance cars deliver a great deal of power in a compact package. To save weight and space, the original cooling system is designed for normal driving conditions. If the car is driven hard for an extended period, this cooling system quickly proves inadequate. Airtec offers the solution with lightweight and efficient oil coolers that have been proven on the racetrack and fit into the smallest possible practical space.
The Oil Cooler is mounted in the grille to maximise the Intake of cool airflow. The cooler fits on either side of the grille, ensuring that the cold air supply to the air filter is not obstructed.
The kit also comprises Aeroquip 90-degree fittings in a black anodised finish with black Pro-Lite oil hose, four black anodised billet hose guides and a Pro-Series Black hose bracket mounted on the gearbox. An 82-degree thermostatically controlled sandwich plate is available as an option and is not included in the standard kit.
