The large-core Alpha Competition Intercooler kit has been specifically designed for the Volkswagen Group’s MQB Evo platforms fitted with the 2.0 TFSI EA888.4 engine. This kit fits as a direct replacement for the OEM Intercooler on the Golf 8 GTI, Golf 8 R, Cupra Formentor, S3 8Y or Octavia NX VRS. With a volume 97 per cent larger than the OEM unit, high flow capacity and a thermal protection coating, this intercooler is made from high-quality aluminium and comes with reinforced silicone hoses.
Direct fitting is possible, although some modification to the OEM plastic radiator housing is required.
