The CTS Street Sport engine mounts strike a new balance between comfort and performance on the Audi A4, S4, A5, S5, RS5 and Allroad, the Audi A6 and A7, the Audi Q5 and SQ5, and the Audi Q7 and Q8. They are constructed from high-durometer rubber and are resistant to harsh driving conditions, whilst maintaining driving comfort.
The mounts have no cavities and contain no fluid, unlike the factory-fitted versions. This means problems such as excessive movement, leakage and sagging are a thing of the past. The housing is made from high-quality cast aluminium in accordance with OEM production methods. Electronic emulators ensure a plug-and-play installation, meaning that cars fitted with active engine mounts remain free from the engine fault light.
CTS deliberately opted for high-durometer rubber rather than polyurethane, due to its superior damping properties and rubber’s ability to absorb loads under both tension and compression. Rubber also performs better under shear, an area where polyurethane generally falls short.

Frequently asked questions
How many mounts do I need per car?
The mounts are supplied in pairs, and one pair is required per car.
Will the engine fault light come on in a car with active engine mounts?
No. Electronic emulators are included, making installation plug-and-play and ensuring the engine fault light does not come on.
Do vibrations increase?
Yes. These performance mounts result in more vibrations and a stiffer ride. They are fully bedded in after 500 to 600 miles.
Why rubber and not polyurethane?
Rubber has better damping properties and absorbs loads under both tension and compression. Under shear, rubber performs better than polyurethane.
