The do88 Intake system for the Porsche 911 992 Carrera is the first model-specific air filter kit for this car. From the 992 generation onwards, every 911 is turbocharged, and the layout of the Intake system is completely different from that of previous generations. The 992 no longer has a single air filter shared between both turbos. The Air Intake is still located in the bonnet, shared with the intercooler air duct, but the filters and their housings are situated in both rear wings, better shielded from the heat emanating from the engine compartment.
The air filter housings have been freely designed in a 3D CAD environment and are made from vacuum-infused prepreg carbon fibre for the best finish and fit. The system is available in three versions, with airflow 13 to 29 per cent higher than the original system, depending on the version chosen. The kit comes with high-quality silicone hoses and the necessary accessories.
