The Endura performance Redtop R8 Ignition Coils are the ultimate upgrade for powerful and reliable ignition, with a sleek red OEM+ finish. These ignition coils deliver approximately 10% more ignition energy, reduce misfires and are easy to fit thanks to their plug-and-play design. Specifically developed for the Audi RS4 B5 / S4 B5 2.7T (V6 biturbo) and Audi S4 B8 / S5 8T 3.0 TFSI (V6).
Why are they better than the original? Thanks to additional windings in the internal coils and high-quality copper, these ignition coils deliver a more powerful, more stable spark – even at high turbo pressure and temperatures. The result is improved combustion, faster throttle response and maximum reliability, from stock to Stage 3 tuning.
Advantages
• Fitment guarantee: perfect fit, just like the
original• +10% more ignition energy: cleaner combustion, fewer
misfires• Reliable under load: ideal for both standard and tuned engines•
Plug & play: direct replacement for OEM ignition coils•
Red design: sporty OEM+ look under the
bonnet• 12-month warranty
Installation tips
• 2.7T (RS4/S4 B5): for models with bolt-down ignition coils and an ICM (Ignition Control Module), ignition coil adaptors and an ICM-delete/conversion wiring harness are required to use push-down ignition coils.
• 3.0T (S4 B8 / S5 8T): fully plug & play, no additional parts required.
• Spark plugs & gap: use OEM specifications or the values recommended by your tuner.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do these coil packs work on a standard (untuned) engine?
Yes, they improve spark stability and reliability, even on standard engines.
Do I need adaptors for my 2.7T (RS4/S4 B5)?
Yes, if you’re still using bolt-down ignition coils with an ICM. In that case, you’ll need adaptors and an ICM-delete/conversion wiring harness. If you already have push-down ignition coils without an ICM, it’s plug-and-play.
Do more powerful coil packs deliver extra power?
Indirectly, yes – the more powerful, more stable spark ensures more efficient combustion and improved performance, particularly at higher turbo pressures.
Is a tune required?
No, a tune isn’t required. Do, however, use the correct spark plug and gap setting as specified by your tuner or the OEM.
