We can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is the best Downpipe on the market for these cars. This is an extreme Downpipe, lovingly handcrafted in Europe and built for maximum performance, massive flow and absolute durability. Built for maximum performance and long-lasting quality.
Give your 1.8 or 2.0 TSI EA888.3 engine the ultimate upgrade with the Endura Motorsport V2 Downpipe. This version has been developed as the best choice for maximum performance and longevity: hand-crafted in Europe, featuring a unique cast elbow, made entirely from T304 stainless steel and boasting a one-piece design that makes exhaust leaks virtually impossible.
Approximately 50 per cent of the Downpipe is 3.5 inches (89 mm) for massive flow and rapid turbo Spool-up, whilst the other half is 3 inches (76 mm) and tapers at the end to match the original exhaust diameter. This allows you to benefit from maximum performance, whilst the Downpipe fits the original exhaust or centre silencer without any modifications.
The V2 Downpipe is manufactured entirely from T304 stainless steel and TIG-welded. The cast stainless steel elbow ensures extreme strength and perfect gas flow. The Downpipe features integrated OPF bungs and comes with blanking plugs, making it suitable for both OPF and non-OPF vehicles. If you want to get the most out of your setup, opt for the optional heat shielding.
The Downpipe has a total of 3 sensor connections:
• 1x connection for the lambda sensor•
2x temperature sensor bungs (as with all OPF models)
Important: on vehicles with an OPF, the original Downpipe also has two additional connections for OPF pressure sensors. These connections are not present on the Endura Motorsport V2 Downpipe, as this pressure measurement is no longer used with performance upgrades.
What to do:
Remove the metal pipes from the pressure sensors. You will then be left with only the rubber hoses.
Sealing:
• Insert a sealing plug or an M8 bolt into each hose•
Secure with a hose clamp to ensure it is completely airtight
Tidy away:
• Secure the hoses behind a heat
shield using cable ties• Ensure they cannot come into contact with the exhaust or moving parts

converter• With heat shielding (+ €300): can be combined with both the decat and the sports catalytic converter variants
Heat shielding: why it makes all the difference
The Downpipe is located directly behind the turbo and is therefore the hottest part of the entire exhaust system. Particularly with a 3.5-inch Downpipe, the pipework radiates a great deal of heat into a compact engine compartment. With the optional heat shielding, the Downpipe is fitted with a heat-resistant shield that traps the heat within the pipework, rather than allowing it to radiate into the engine bay.
• Lower temperature in the engine compartment: less heat around the turbo, wiring harnesses, hoses and sensors•
Cooler Intake air: reduced heat soak in the Intake tract and Intercooler pipes, for more consistent performance during repeated hard
acceleration• Protection of surrounding components: plastic parts, rubber components and wiring are subjected to less stress from radiant
heat• Faster exhaust gases: the heat remains in the exhaust gas, which improves the flow of gas towards the exhaust•
Ideal for high-performance builds and track use: where temperatures rise the highest

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this V2 Downpipe fit the original exhaust?
Yes, thanks to the adapter, the Endura Motorsport V2 Downpipe fits directly onto the original exhaust or centre silencer.
Does this Downpipe work on both OPF and non-OPF models?
Yes. The Downpipe features welded OPF bungs for facelift models and blanking plugs for non-OPF vehicles.
Do I need a tune?
A tune is always necessary for OPF models. For non-OPF vehicles with a fitted catalytic converter, it may sometimes be possible to do without a tune, but this is not guaranteed. This is because the 200-cell high-flow sports catalytic converter can provide so much flow that the ECU detects the catalytic converter is not functioning effectively.
Is fitting difficult?
No. The Downpipe is plug-and-play and connects without any welding.
What is the difference between the decat and the sports cat?
The decat offers maximum flow and the loudest sound. The 200-cell sports cat is slightly quieter and more emissions-friendly but still provides high flow.
What does the heat shield do, and do I need it?
The heat shield keeps the heat from the Downpipe contained within the pipework. This ensures a cooler engine bay, cooler Intake air and less heat stress on surrounding components. Highly recommended for high-power set-ups, track use and for anyone who wants to get the most out of their set-up.
