We can say without a doubt that this is the best Downpipe on the market for these cars. This is an extreme Downpipe, handcrafted in Europe and built for maximum performance, massive flow and absolute durability. Built for maximum performance and long-lasting quality.
Give your Golf 8 GTI, Golf 8 GTI Clubsport or Škoda Octavia NX RS with a 2.0 TSI EA888.4 MQB Evo engine the ultimate performance upgrade with the Endura Motorsport V2 3.5-inch Downpipe. Approximately 50 per cent of the Downpipe is 3.5-inch in diameter for massive flow from the turbo; the remainder is 3-inch and tapers to the original exhaust diameter, ensuring a direct fit onto the OEM exhaust or centre silencer without any welding.
The V2 Downpipe is manufactured from T304 stainless steel and TIG-welded. The larger 3.5-inch elbow section immediately after the turbo ensures maximum exhaust gas flow and lower back pressure. Production takes place in a specialist workshop in Europe, where many components are finished by hand to ensure a consistent standard of quality.
The V2 Downpipe has a total of 3 sensor connections:
• 1x lambda
sensor• 2x temperature sensors (EGT)
Important: the original Downpipe has two additional connections for OPF pressure sensors. These are not included on the V2 Downpipe, as these measurements are no longer used in performance upgrades.
What to do:
Remove the metal pipes from the pressure sensors. You will be left with the rubber hoses.
Sealing:
• Insert a sealing plug or M8 bolt into each hose•
Secure with a hose clamp to ensure a 100% airtight seal
Tidy away:
• Secure the hoses behind a heat shield
using cable ties• Ensure they do not come into contact with the exhaust or moving parts
Advantages
• Maximum performance thanks to a 3.5 → 3-inch diameter for massive flow and fast
Spool-up• 3.5-inch elbow section immediately after the turbo for optimal gas
flow• Handcrafted in Europe using specialised manufacturing and consistent quality
control• One-piece design with no separate sections and minimal risk of leaks•
T304 stainless steel for high heat and corrosion resistance•
TIG-welded for strong, clean and reliable
welds• OEM fit connects perfectly to the original exhaust or centre
silencer• Plug-and-play installation – no welding required•
power gain through improved exhaust gas flow, more torque and horsepower

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this V2 Downpipe fit the original exhaust?
Yes, thanks to the adapter, the Downpipe connects directly to the original exhaust or centre silencer without the need for welding.
Do I need an ECU tune after fitting?
An ECU tune is strongly recommended, particularly when using a decat or a 200-cell sports catalytic converter. This ensures optimum performance and helps prevent fault codes.
What is the difference between a decat and a sports catalytic converter?
A decat completely removes the catalytic converter for maximum flow and the most aggressive sound. The 200-cell high-flow sports catalytic converter reduces emissions whilst maintaining very high flow, with a slightly quieter and more street-friendly sound.
