The Forge Turbo Blanket has been specially designed for the Abarth 595 and 695 fitted with an OEM Garrett turbo. This blanket is designed to insulate the engine – and in particular the intercooler and Intake – from the thermal radiation emitted by the turbo. The product fits the Garrett turbo without any modifications and can withstand temperatures of up to 1260°C.
The outer layer is made from a carbon fibre fabric, whilst the inner core is composed of calcium magnesium silicate wool. This product is manufactured in the United Kingdom.
