The Mishimoto oil catch tank is designed for the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86 to eliminate harmful blow-by vapours that would otherwise be recirculated into the engine. The FA20 engine in the BRZ/GT86 uses a different type of direct injection system that also utilises port fuel injectors to reduce carbon build-up. Although carbon build-up is less severe than in most direct-injection engines, this catch tank kit is essential to ensure your boxer engine performs at its best.
