This Runner Flap Delete Kit has been developed for EA113 2.0 TFSI engines and removes the standard Intake valves (runner flaps) from the Intake manifold. The OEM plastic flaps regulate the airflow, but also act as a restriction – even when they are fully open.
With this kit, you replace the flap assembly and mechanism with fixed plates, thereby improving airflow and allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently. This makes the kit particularly suitable for tuning and performance applications.
Benefits
• Improved airflow in the Intake manifold•
Less restriction than OEM
flaps• Better performance at higher
revs• Elimination of weak OEM flap
components• Ideal for stage builds•
More consistent air supply

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly does a flap delete do?
It removes restrictions in the Intake system to improve airflow.
Does this give more power?
Yes, particularly at higher revs and with tuned set-ups.
Are there any drawbacks?
Yes – potentially less torque at low revs and fault codes without tuning.
Is this plug-and-play?
Mechanically, yes, but a software adjustment is often recommended.
