The Wagner Competition Gen.2 Intercooler kit has been developed for the Audi S3 8P and various VAG vehicles fitted with first- and second-generation 2.0 TFSI/TSI engines (EA888), including the Golf 6 GTI and Seat Leon Cupra. The Intercooler has core dimensions of 610 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm with a capacity of 17.45 litres and offers a 10% larger flow area and 50% more charge volume than the original Intercooler.
The Competition mesh has been developed using advanced CAD technology and cast aluminium air guides to ensure optimum internal air distribution with minimal back pressure. The CNC-machined hose connections have been enlarged to Ø67 mm and are supplied with reinforced silicone hoses that can withstand high temperatures and pressure. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties ensures long-lasting protection and optimum cooling. Weighing 9.2 kg, the intercooler is weight-optimised. The kit is a direct replacement for the OEM Intercooler and is fitted on a plug-and-play basis. For many models, the product is available with a parts certificate (Teilegutachten).
