The Wagner Competition EVO3 Intercooler kit has been specially developed for the BMW 135i and 335i with N54 and N55 engines, and takes performance to the next level by optimising engine cooling and minimising back pressure. Thanks to the original mounting points, installation is a simple plug-and-play replacement.
With stepped fin dimensions of 510 mm x 303 mm x 180 mm and a total volume of 20.65 litres, this EVO3 Intercooler offers a 162% larger inlet surface area and 182% more charge air volume than the standard radiator. At its heart is a Competition Tube Fin core with internal turbulators for outstanding cooling at minimal back pressure; the cast aluminium end caps, optimised in CAD using CFD simulations, maximise internal airflow. The inlet and outlet diameters have been increased to Ø70 mm. Weighing just 13.2 kg, the radiator is lightweight yet extremely robust and has been tested for pressure stability up to 6 bar. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling. The kit fits the 335(x)i E90/E91/E92/E93 (2006–2011), 335is E92 (2009–2013), 135i E82/E88 (2007–2013) and 1 Series M E82 (2011–2013), all without ACC; the 135i is not compatible with the M performance front bumper.
