The Wagner Competition Intercooler kit gets the most out of the Kia Optima GT JF 2.0 TGDI. The newly developed Competition Tube Fin core delivers excellent cooling performance with minimal back pressure, making it ideal for both road and track use.
With stepped core dimensions of 340 mm x 445 mm x 70 mm + 340 mm x 173 mm x 70 mm and a total volume of 14.71 litres, the intercooler offers a 104% larger cooling surface area (1513 cm² compared to 742.1 cm² OEM) and 120% more net volume (compared to 6.68 litres OEM). The cast aluminium end caps have been designed using CAD and optimised with CFD simulations to ensure ideal internal airflow. A special air guide plate ensures even filling of the core and sufficient airflow to adjacent components such as the water cooler. The inlet and outlet have a diameter of Ø65 mm. An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity ensures long-lasting cooling. Installation is plug-and-play using the original mounting points. The kit is suitable for the Kia Optima (JF) GT 2.0 TGDI (175–180 kW / 238–245 PS, 2016–2019).
