Airtec Motorsport front-mount Intercooler upgrade for the Ford Fiesta Mk8 1.0 ST-Line, designed to significantly improve the cooling performance and airflow of the small EcoBoost turbo.
This intercooler utilises a horizontal 60 mm twin-pass core, through which air flows from left to right. Thanks to this short air path, the turbo can move air more quickly, resulting in better response and more stable performance.
The design makes optimal use of the upper section of the intercooler, where the hot charge air enters. This creates a larger effective cooling surface and better heat dissipation under load.
the intercooler features flowed-cast end tanks, resulting in fewer weld seams and a stronger construction with improved airflow.
For even better cooling performance, Airtec recommends cutting additional openings in the grille during fitting using a Dremel or drill, so that more airflow is directed straight towards the intercooler.
The kit is supplied complete with pipework, fixing materials and fitting instructions. Fitting is carried out using the original crash bar mounting points and requires no drilling or cutting of the bumper.
Please note: this intercooler is not compatible with vehicles fitted with adaptive cruise control (ACC).
