In direct-injection engines, oil and vapour residues can enter the Intake system via the original crankcase ventilation system. Over time, this causes carbon build-up on the Intake ports and valves, resulting in reduced airflow, performance and efficiency.
The Airtec catch can captures these contaminants before they reach the Intake system. This keeps the engine cleaner and prevents the need for costly cleaning treatments in the long term.
The kit has been specifically developed for the Fiesta ST180 and utilises the available space in the engine bay for a neat OEM+ integration. Thanks to the billet-machined mounting bracket with a satin black powder coating, the catch can is mounted securely and neatly.
