The CTS lowering springs have been developed for the Audi A4, S4, A5, S5 and Allroad B9 and B9.5. All springs are made from high-quality SAE 9254 / DIN 54SiCr6 spring steel wire, ensuring that the springs are safe, strong and resistant to fatigue over time.
CTS has designed the springs for road use, with an emphasis on road holding, braking performance and responsive handling, without compromising ride comfort compared to other manufacturers. The springs were developed in-house and extensively tested before being released. These tests revealed no adverse effects or deterioration of the OEM shock absorber element during prolonged use.
Lowering the car also gives it a more aggressive look, with less space between the wheel and the mudguard, resulting in a look closer to the ‘flush’ style, without compromising day-to-day practicality. The springs are compatible with DCC and work well with Dynamic Damper Control, whilst maintaining handling characteristics across the various settings.
