The 034 Motorsport Density Line control arm set replaces the four original lower control arms on the B8 and B8.5 Audi A4, S4, RS4, A5, S5, RS5, Q5 and SQ5, the C7 and C7.5 Audi A6, S6, RS6, A7, S7 and RS7 models, and the 95B Porsche Macan. The set restores steering precision to above factory standards with high-durometer rubber bushings and high-quality ball joints.
The original front lower control arms are an essential part of the chassis, but can start to show signs of wear as early as 40,000 miles, particularly in cars driven hard on the road or on the track. As soon as the rubber bushings deteriorate and the ball joints develop play, the alignment becomes compromised and steering becomes less precise. The Density Line control arms minimise unwanted deformation in the chassis, resulting in tighter handling and more precise steering response than even new original control arms can offer. The set includes four lower control arms, two new ball joints and all the necessary fitting hardware, and combines perfectly with the 034 Motorsport adjustable upper control arms.
Select ‘early’ (M12) for vehicles manufactured up to and including 2 November 2009 and ‘late’ (M14) for vehicles manufactured from 3 November 2009 onwards. For the C7 and C7.5 A6 and A7, ‘early’ (M12) applies up to 15 August 2011 and ‘late’ (M14) from 15 August 2011 onwards. For the C7, S6, S7, RS6 and RS7, ‘late’ (M14) always applies.
