The Airtec Motorsport Oil Catch Tank for the Toyota Yaris GR is a preventative upgrade for track use and sporty road driving. Oil catch tanks are essential for preventing a decline in the performance of direct-injection engines over time.
Airtec developed this kit specifically for the Yaris and utilises the available space to integrate seamlessly into the engine compartment. A high-quality billet-machined bracket, finished in a matt black powder coat, holds the catch tank securely in place.
The tank itself features an internal baffle and dipstick and can be removed for easy maintenance. The kit comes complete with all fixing materials and comprehensive fitting instructions.
Over time, the original oil breather can cause carbon deposits to build up in the engine’s Intake system. This forms an oily film on parts of the Intake and the Intake valves, which reduces airflow and, consequently, performance. Once this build-up has occurred, cleaning it is a costly process. The catch tank acts as a filter that traps harmful contaminants before they reach the Intake system, making preventative maintenance well worth the effort.
