Airtec Motorsport Intercooler upgrade kit for the Hyundai i20N, developed as an effective cooling upgrade for track use and sporty road driving. This intercooler is designed as a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM part.
To prevent power loss during prolonged periods of heavy use, Airtec Motorsport has developed a larger, free-flowing Intercooler. Thanks to a clever stepped core design, the core is taller and has a depth of up to 130 mm, making maximum use of the available volume within the limited space behind the bumper.
This design results in a 71% increase in capacity compared to the original Intercooler and a 55% larger frontal area. This ensures optimal utilisation of the available airflow and keeps Intake temperatures more stable under heavy load.
The inlet and outlet diameters have been increased from 50 mm to 63 mm, which further improves airflow. the intercooler can be used in combination with the original pipework or with the Airtec Motorsport cold-side boost pipe kit, which features a larger diameter.
For optimum airflow, the intercooler features high-flow, one-piece cast end tanks and an internal air guide. The kit features a high-quality black powder-coated finish and is supplied with Pro Hoses silicone couplings and reducers, all necessary fixing materials and a detailed installation manual.
