In addition to the Airtec Motorsport front-mount Intercooler upgrade for the VAG MQB EA888.3 platform, it is now also available as a kit including upgraded boost pipes. This intercooler, featuring a 63 mm core and high-quality cast end tanks, directly replaces the smaller and restrictive OEM system. Despite this improvement, the Airtec Intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper, without the need for trimming or cutting. The boost pipes replace the narrower OEM boost pipes, resulting in better airflow and increased power.

the intercooler was tested on the dyno and showed significantly lower Air Intake temperatures than the OEM version. With the Airtec Intercooler, a massive drop of 120 degrees was observed, keeping temperatures much closer to ambient levels and ensuring greater reliability on every run. This resulted in a massive improvement in performance.|
The hot side has a diameter of 63mm to maintain high airflow and reduce the effects of turbo lag on high-power cars. The boost pipes on the cold side are a whopping 70mm to create maximum airflow.

Please note: the Big boost pipe set is NOT compatible with a 7-speed gearbox.
