Airtec Motorsport Intercooler upgrade for the Mini Cooper S (2.0 turbo / F56), developed as a direct bolt-on upgrade to reduce Intake temperatures and maintain stable performance in both standard and tuned vehicles.
An ECU remap increases turbo pressure and other parameters, leading to higher Intake temperatures and, ultimately, a loss of power. Fitting a larger and more efficient Intercooler reduces these temperatures, helping to maintain power levels and ensuring the engine operates more safely under load.
This intercooler is designed as a direct replacement for the OEM part and utilises a 60 mm thick bar-and-plate core. Combined with high-flow cast end tanks without sharp corners, airflow is optimised and cooling capacity is significantly increased.
the intercooler fits without any modifications and is suitable for both pre-facelift and LCI/facelift models.
Please note: this intercooler is not suitable for JCW models.
