Airtec Motorsport front-mount Intercooler kit for the Nissan GT-R R35, developed as a high-performance cooling solution for Stage 1 to Stage 4.5 modified GT-Rs. This intercooler is designed as a direct replacement for the original Nissan intercooler and offers a significant improvement in cooling capacity at higher power outputs and under sustained load.
the intercooler was developed entirely in-house at Airtec HQ in the United Kingdom and is the result of an extensive development programme during which multiple design variants were tested. As with all Airtec products, this kit has not only been designed theoretically but also tested in practice under realistic driving conditions.
The development vehicle started in a Stage 2 configuration and was later upgraded with the Airtec Intercooler, Airtec Intake systems, Milltek downpipes and 1100cc injectors. Combined with a Stage 4.25 map from GT-R specialist Kaizer Motor, this delivered an impressive power output of 667.8 pk, whilst Intake temperatures remained stable and consistent.
The kit is designed as a complete plug-and-play solution and utilises the Nissan GT-R’s original mounting points. This makes installation straightforward and eliminates the need for any modifications such as cutting, drilling or altering the bodywork. The complete set is supplied with all the necessary mounting hardware for correct installation.
