Airtec Motorsport Oil Catch Can upgrade for the Hyundai i30N 2.0 T-GDi, developed as a preventative upgrade for track use and sporty road driving. This Catch Can helps to maintain the long-term performance and efficiency of direct-injection engines.
In direct-injection engines, the original crankcase ventilation system can, over time, cause carbon deposits to build up in the Intake system. Oil and vapour residues form a greasy deposit on the Intake ports and Intake valves, which restricts airflow and ultimately reduces performance and efficiency.
The Airtec Motorsport Catch Can captures these contaminants before they reach the Intake system. This reduces carbon build-up and keeps the Intake tract cleaner, thereby preventing costly cleaning procedures in the long term.
The kit has been specifically developed for the i30N and makes optimal use of the available space in the engine compartment. A CNC-machined billet mounting bracket, finished in a satin black powder coating, ensures a neat and secure fit.
The Catch Can itself features an internal baffle for efficient separation of oil and vapour, as well as an oil dipstick for easy checking. The can can be removed for servicing. The complete set comes with three Pro Hoses silicone hoses, all necessary fixing materials and a detailed fitting guide.
