Airtec Motorsport Stage 1 Gen 3 Intercooler upgrade for the Ford Focus ST225, developed for sporty road use and track use. Thanks to its efficient 60 mm bar-and-plate core, this intercooler is suitable for vehicles up to approximately 325 hp.
This Generation 3 Intercooler is a further development of the original Airtec ST Intercooler, which was first introduced in 2005. The latest version features a larger core, improved cast end tanks and even more efficient airflow.
To achieve maximum performance within the limited space behind the bumper, Airtec has opted for a core that is approximately twice as high as the original and almost 100 mm longer. This results in a massive increase in capacity and a 100 per cent larger frontal area compared to the OEM Intercooler.
The combination of the large 60 mm core and the smooth-flow cast end tanks ensures significantly lower Intake temperatures, increased power and more stable performance under prolonged load.
The kit comes complete with all the necessary fitting materials for a direct fit.
